So I've been dating this girl for 7 months now. She once said she liked me because of our love for one specific artist. I wasnt sure if I was going to date her when she first approached me but i found myself being more and more drawn towards her the more we talked.
She reached out to me through one of our mutual friends. My friend told me that she had a crush on me and wanted to approach me after our exams were over but she(my friend) pushed her to do it asap because I once mentioned my cousin was trying to set me up with one of her room mates. But I ended up asking her out even before our exams had even started and she actually said yes. Things have been feeling kinda fake ever since. She replies with texts like "as you should" to all the couple reels i used to send her. Either that or just a react. So i stopped sending her those as a whole. I never really thought too much about it until a few weeks ago. I was telling her about our future. I just told her I was serious about her and I really did want a future together for us. All all I got back was an emoji reaction on it. Then i realized, every single couple like discussion, everything we did together, I was always the one initiating, not her. I suggested a few shows and movies that i liked but she never watched those either despite being really into series and stuff.
As of right now, our exams are on going. And i kind of feel like she's already decided to break up with me but holding it back because she doesnt want for it to affect my exams. I want to ask her directly but I dont think I have the rights to ask her about it as i have dated a few girls before meeting her while she has dated none. Im kinda insecure about it too XD. She never said anything to make me feel insecure its just a "me" thing lol.
I just wanted to know what others think. Am i just overthinking it? In no way she's a bad person. I just feel like when she told our friend she had a crush on me, she didnt mean me as a person. More like the mystery around me. And after getting to know me better, that state of "crush" wore off.
