Should I mind about our height difference?

My friends are quite ‘perfectionists’--in a very bad way. Just last week when I introduced to them my new gf, they gave me a smirking reaction. After that day, I confronted them why they’ve been very cold to my girlfriend; they said we’re not compatible, that I am way too tall for her. I was taken aback. And that when I realized about our height difference. My gf is only 5 ft tall, while I’m 6’5 ft tall. Is this really a concern? I decided not to think about it much but my friends are persuasive in putting an end to my relationship with my gf. Should I mind about their side? I can’t just break up with my girlfriend!

What horrible friends you have. You should keep your girlfriend but dump your 'friends'. If you are happy, then they should be happy for you. Height, size, colour or whatever makes no difference.

Why should you care about what your friends say about your girlfriend. This is about who you love and your happiness, and not about them. So, don't let what your friends have said change your mind about someone you love.

Your friends need to kick rocks, no real friend will try to break up your happiness over something so petty as your height difference... sounds to me like you need to break up with your friends not your lady!!!

Yes, I will keep my girl. I just realize that it doesn't really matter if she's small. I love her and I can't afford to lose her.

I won't break up with her. I can't afford to lose someone I love. I won't listen to what my friends are saying now. Thanks a lot!

The thing is I've been with my friends for 5 years already, but I'm not going to follow what they're saying about my girlfriend. I will keep my girl and will continue my relationship with her. Thanks a lot!

This seems to be resolved already, but I know so many people who would KILL for that height difference!! They'd want it!

So you do you and only take their words for face value. A lot of their conclusions don't seem to be respectable, even if it has good intentions.
