  • I'm Currently 25 Weeks Pregnant When Do I Buy a Nursing Bra

I am pregnant with my first child and naive about the whole pregnancy thing. Although I have been getting advice from friends and older people, I still have one question though, when do I buy a nursing bra? Do I wait (I'm currently 25 weeks) until I'm closer to 38-40 weeks? My chest size hasn't grown too much since becoming pregnant thus far so I am anticipating more growth ?

I wore my nursing bra around 20 weeks I think. It was just so comfortable, so that's why I started wearing it. Once your milk comes in if you are planning on breastfeeding, then you will most likely get bigger but you should be able to still fit in the same size as they are pretty forgiving in that particular bra Congratulations!!

Nursing bras are the best, I picked some up as soon as my others became uncomfortable. Its good for your breasts to wear them before birth as they are a more relaxed fit and help with blood flow as the breast tissue changes. I don't know if its happened to anyone else, but just a heads up, my breasts would get very sore sometimes, like someone was trying to rip off my nipples, for the first few weeks of wearing the nursing bra, I think it was related to the physical changes happening.
